Meet ALEXANDRU
My diving journey began in November 2023, when I tried scuba diving for the first time at Deep Dive Dubai — simply because my girlfriend wanted to experience something new. What started as curiosity quickly became a passion. Just a week after completing my Open Water course, I was already back at the dive center to earn my Nitrox certification.
Since then, I’ve completed over 250 dives, exploring wrecks, reefs, and deep sites across the region. On July 8th 2025, I achieved my Hypoxic Trimix certification in Fujairah — a milestone that marked how much diving has become part of who I am.
I just started my CCR (Closed Circuit Rebreather) journey and I continue to push my limits through exploration, discipline, and constant learning. Expedition Diving is my way of sharing that passion and helping others progress safely and meaningfully in their own diving paths.

Not yet. We are an independent resource — destination guides, course reviews, and expedition planning advice. We connect you with the right operators; direct booking is on the roadmap.
Is any content sponsored or paid for?
No. Zero paid placements, zero affiliate-driven ‘best of’ lists. Every recommendation reflects firsthand experience. Independence is what makes this useful.
What level of diver is this for?
We focus on advanced and technical diving, but the entry point is anyone who has completed Open Water and wants a clear path forward. If you are actively progressing, this is for you.
Can I contribute or collaborate?
Yes — and we want to hear from you. Divers, instructors, marine scientists with field experience to share. The only bar is that you must have actually been there.
